Position Overview The Operations Domain Architect is responsible for the definition, oversight, coordination, and development of technology designs, along with the related road maps and lifecycle management. They will leverage mastery of SAP and deep understanding of production and supply chain processes to design and implement solutions that optimize operations. They will collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to understand current challenges, drive process improvements, and develop strategic roadmaps aligned with industry best practices. Essential Duties Include but are not limited to the following: Partner with business stakeholders at all levels to deeply understand production and supply chain requirements, challenges, and opportunities for optimization. Provide overall architecture guidance, governance, and recommendations in support of technical objectives in their domains. Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, focusing on business outcomes and identifying areas for improvement and strategic alignment. Design and implement transformative solutions (potentially leveraging SAP) that drive efficiency, accuracy, and visibility throughout the production and supply chain. Develop and drive strategic cross-functional ERP roadmaps to support long-term growth and optimization across production, supply chain, and related business functions. Collaborate with implementation teams, providing deep subject matter expertise on SAP to ensure optimal solutions when SAP is the optimal tool. Proactively research and share insights about emerging trends, industry best practices, and new technologies relevant to operations domains to inform optimization efforts and drive continuous improvement. Offer high-level guidance to ensure the design and build of projects aligns with originally identified business needs and roadmap priorities.
