JOB REQUIREMENTS: Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant - CT Surgery ICU - 21319 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 100% FTE - mainly days with 8 to 12 hour shifts. Night and weekend coverage 1:6 (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM). Includes additional compensation for night and weekend hours. Be part of something remarkable As an Advanced Practice Provider, you\'ll play an integral role in our inpatient team by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. The Cardiothoracic ICU is a closed ICU service that hosts variety of pre and post-surgical phase of cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, including heart and lung transplants, complex aortic cases and ventricular assist devices, as well as ECMO and other short term mechanical circulatory device patients. This team is led by a critical care board certified intensivist faculty and its members include residents, fellows and advance practice providers. We are looking for APP partners who would maintain continuity of this high intensity cardiothoracic surgery critical care team. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: * Work with an interdisciplinary team to provide peri-operative care for adult patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery * Participate in daily rounding and collaborate with attending or consulting team to adjust plans of care.
