Capitol Clinic Laboratory 09:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM Saturday and Sunday one weekend per month. Medical Laboratory Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician - Microbiology experience preferred. Why join our comprehensive laboratory department? The Sauk Trails Laboratory serves as the core laboratory for all six of the Group Health Cooperative clinical sites and performs 90% of the testing collected at GHC in the areas of Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunochemistry, and Molecular testing. Stable work Monday through Friday offering a variety of interesting work using various procedures and instruments. Generous weekend shift differential. GHC-SCW\'s smaller laboratory team provides a strong sense of community within the department and increased access and closer relationships to the department leadership team. Work only 1-2 holidays per year! No third shift rotations! Free parking at all GHC clinic locations! The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing laboratory procedures as ordered by a practitioner. Responsibilities include: performance of lab tests from all GHC-SCW locations in any or all departments; performance of quality control, troubleshooting, and maintenance functions; collection of specimens; and other tasks as assigned. The position is also responsible for provision of technical support to Medical Laboratory Technicians, providers, and other GHC-SCW internal staff. The MT works under the general supervision and guidance of the Medical Laboratory Services Manager, the Chief Medical Technologist and/or the Medical Technologist - Lead.
