Our team is dedicated to recruiting, admitting, and enrolling the next generation of UW-Madison undergraduates. The Manager for Strategic Initiatives anchors strategic operational planning to maximize synergies, efficiencies, productivity, and collaboration across the office. They work collaboratively with OAR team and process leads who manage projects as well as content experts and select partners. They provide leadership in cataloging and communicating recurring and ad-hoc projects that support OAR\'s mission and goals. They also serve as project manager on select, ad-hoc functional projects, leveraging the knowledge of stakeholders and empowering decision-makers to ensure their success in achieving deliverables and milestones. Projects include business functions that cross teams such as staffing structures, processes, and services; they typically do not include projects related to technology, application review, or recruitment-specific activities. Additionally, the person in this role supports team, process, and committee leads with project management, providing concepts, knowledge, and skill-building opportunities. Finally, they also serve as a member of OAR\'s management team, working collaboratively with office and process leads to inform sustainable and effective strategies that influence the overall direction of the office. We are seeking a leader with expertise in the organization and implementation of project management concepts in a way that\'s nimble and responsive to the needs of a high volume, complex, and dynamic organization. Someone who can develop positive working relationships and cultivate trust among a diverse group of team members who also is skilled in meeting facilitation will be positioned well for success in this role.
