JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The University of Wisconsin Law School seeks applicants for a Clinical Instructor position in the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic (L&E Clinic). The L&E Clinic trains and supervises students to provide transactional business law services to Wisconsin businesses and nonprofits. The Clinical Instructor will provide direct legal services to very small businesses (VSBs) and businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDIs) and may instruct and supervise law students. Principal Duties: The Clinical Instructor will help the L&E Clinic implement its scope of work under the U.S. Department of the Treasury\'s State Small Business Credit Initiative grant program to provide technical legal, accounting, and financial assistance to Wisconsin VSBs and SEDIs. The Clinical Instructor\'s duties may include: Representing VSBs and SEDIs in a variety of transactional business law matters; Conducting outreach to VSBs and SEDIs through the community organizations that serve them; Collecting data regarding the L&E Clinic\'s work under the grant for reporting purposes; Working collaboratively with the L&E Clinic team to develop on-demand legal resources to serve VSBs and SEDIs; Supervising law students in the provision of the above services; Teaching or co-teaching clinical courses or other classes. Responsibilities: Responsible for the supervision of the clinical training of students and provide direct legal services to the clinic\'s clients.
