In this role, you\'ll work closely with senior financial analysts and leadership to review financial data, ensure compliance with regulatory reporting, and support key business decisions. What You\'ll Do: Prepare reports, including financial statements, membership/utilization reports, and regulatory filings. Ensure compliance with government regulations (like Health Care Reform requirements). Help track the financial health of our insurance operations. Analyze financial data to help guide strategic decisions. Develop and improve systems for collecting, verifying, and reporting financial data. What We\'re Looking For: Experience in cost accounting, insurance regulatory reporting, and/or financial analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. A team player who can also work independently. The Financial Analyst - Insurance and Regulatory supports the Senior Financial Analyst and financial management staff by handling financial analysis and regulatory tasks, including reporting and filing. Responsibilities include preparing internal and external reports such as financial statements, utilization reports, membership reports, and statutory filings. The role ensures accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of financial data to support the insurance organization\'s financial status. The Financial Analyst works independently under the guidance of the Financial Planning & Analysis Supervisor. Job Specific Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, business/health care administration or finance is required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum of three (3) years of financial analysis and accounting experience is required. Experience in healthcare and/or insurance is highly desirable.
