JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Finance Department of the Wisconsin School of Business is hiring a Finance Program Director to teach our Career in Finance class to our exponentially growing number of Finance majors, to help lead our Career Forward Efforts, and to manage the Finance Department\'s interactions with students and external partners. We are transforming our undergraduate student experience, making a world-class education more accessible and inclusive for all students in our programs. It is an exciting time to join us! The position involves teaching 9 to 12 credits worth of Finance courses, which will include the teaching of our FIN200 Careers in Finance course, a course meant to guide our students through career options and optimal preparation for those careers in Finance. This may also include the teaching of introductory level Finance courses. In addition to teaching, this position assists the continued development and implementation of the Finance Departments undergraduate \"Career Forward (Pathways in Finance) program in partnership with our Career Engagement and Employer Engagement teams. Other specific service duties to the Department will include the management of the Finance Departments: 1. Student and Employer Advisory Boards 2. Relationship with the Wisconsin School of Business Career and Employer Engagement teams 3. Relationship with student organizations 4. Guest speaker relations 5. Attribution for the Nathan S. Brand award funds which incentivize our students to participate in applied experiences Additional details are provided below. This position reports to the Finance Department chair and works closely with department faculty and staff, its academic unit manager, and members of the Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) academy and Career and Employer Engagement teams. 1.
