JOB REQUIREMENTS: WE\'RE LOOKING FOR YOU Are you a detail-oriented data manager with Geographic Information System (GIS) knowledge? Do you like a mix of office work and being outdoors in the solitude of nature? We\'re looking for someone who is passionate about data of all kinds and sharing that with colleagues and also motivated to visit natural lands across Wisconsin to do basic monitoring. WHAT YOU\'LL BRING MS or BS degree and certification in related field and 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience managing, maintaining and populating databases and manual files. Experience with interpretation of image analysis. Experience managing multiple projects. Experience working and communicating with others to manage processes and meet deadlines Experience analyzing tabular and spatial data, producing data reports and creating maps, and operating GIS software. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Web Browsers. Valid driver\'s license. Experience with outdoor navigation and outdoor safety practices. May work in variable weather conditions, at remote locations, on difficult and hazardous terrain and under physically demanding circumstances. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience interacting with landowners Experience interpreting results then developing and delivering training to practitioners. Experience supervising staff (if required). SALARY INFORMATION The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of \$56,240 - \$59,755 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate\'s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate\'s location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
