JOB REQUIREMENTS: Location: Ixonia, WI Shifts Available: 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10pm 3rd Shift: 10pm - 6am Position Duties: Run CNC equipment and associated operations with maximum efficiency, producing quality parts with minimal scrap while achieving posted rates and minimizing indirect labor hours. Inspect manufactured parts using required gauges to ensure compliance with routing requirements, drawing dimensions, quality plan dimensions, and SPC chart tracking. Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required. Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor. Understand and adhere to general shop practices as defined in the employee handbook. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances. Replace worn tools, and sharpen dull cutting tools and dies, using bench grinders or cutter-grinding machines. Inspect sample workpieces to verify conformance with specifications, using instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators. Study blueprints, layouts or charts, and job orders for information on specifications and tooling instructions, and to determine material requirements and operational sequences. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Previous CNC experience preferred but willing to train entry level CNC Operators.
