JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) is transforming the Finance, Human Resources, and Research Administration support environment across the University of Wisconsin System, while focusing on people, processes, and technology. This includes the implementation of a new Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system (Workday) to support the changes. The activities will include the review and redesign of business processes (including use of ancillary and bolt-on IT systems), redesign of the chart of accounts, and integration of efforts with several ongoing University and UW System projects. The Business Systems Analyst will serve a vital role within ATP. This position involves the following duties: - Perform complex data analysis to ensure data management objectives are met - Serve as a subject matter expert to leadership - Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements - Devise or modify complex information systems, including analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary - Determine and recommend programs required for optimal problem solution within cost/performance objectives - Participate in requirements planning and feasibility determination - Work on tasks including project or functional requirements, functional design, functional configuration, testing, and process documentation Responsibilities: Makes final determinations on systems requirements and technology selection and performs complex data analysis to ensure data management objectives are met.
