Position Overview The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for designing and optimizing business processes and partner with IT to design systems. The Business Process Analyst acts as a liaison between business teams and works with technology teams. This person will support process design, improvement projects, as well as product launches through all phases of the project lifecycle. The Business Analyst provides first level day to day support to users and subject matter experts. The role will focus on evaluating, prioritizing, and managing changes to the system using appropriate change management processes, as well as develops and provides training. This role will research gaps in functionality, gather requirements of users and present recommendations to both technical and business teams. This individual will understand the business processes and system capabilities to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions and other departments. Essential Duties Include but are not limited to the following: Work with key business owners to analyze existing business processes and systems to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. Identify problems, design challenges and conceptualize solutions to meet Business Partner needs. Design, develop and maintain systems, platform configurations and technologies to meet Business Partner needs. Provide production assistance and lead efforts to analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance business systems through system improvements, including design, testing, validation, training, and post-launch support. Develop detailed plans, gather and document business, technical, and functional requirements, and translate them into system design solutions.
