The Autonomy Architecture team is responsible for designing and developing a various components of the Ford Motor Company's autonomous driving pipeline. The Architecture Team is utilizing the output of perception, prediction, and mapping to create high performance decisions in real-time for complex driving scenarios. This involves routing to the desired destination, making high-level decisions with respect to traffic controls and other selecting an optimal trajectory for the vehicle to execute.
What you'll do…
Build algorithms from design, prototyping, testing, deployment, to productization.
Contribute to a robust and scalable C++ codebase with state-of-the-art practices.
Mentor others in software and algorithm engineering domains.
Propose and prototype novel methods for motion planning, motion controls, scheduling, trajectory evaluations, and other related topics.
Develop tools for visualization and debugging, and use them to analyze logs from fleet testing.
You'll have…
Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent fields
5+ years modern C++ development experience
