JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Department of Urology is searching for a tenure track PhD to join their team! The Department of Urology is ranked #7 in the nation for NIH urology funding. Responsibilities: 85% Research and Scholarly Work - Establish a nationally recognized basic science or translational research program in a focused area of urological health, and disseminate findings through publications in peer reviewed journals and presentations at regional and national academic meetings. 15% Teaching - Undergraduate and/or graduate lectures, periodic research presentations to physician trainees, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, leadership and/or mentorship on training grants. The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows. The successful applicant will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
