This is a Sr. Application Development and Support Remote position.

Design and develop new, complex technology systems and solutions according to system requirements following TNC methodology and development best practices. Act as technical lead on technology application maintenance projects related to application upgrades, conversions, and modifications. Perform tasks assigned as required to complete project including design, development, running specific programs, generating reports, and analyzing results. Work with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, develop project plans, provide realistic estimations and technical expertise to team members. Assist technical support staff, Business Support Center staff, Project Managers, and users as needed by providing support for business applications including diagnosing complex problems requiring extensive analysis and troubleshooting. Design and implement solutions for corrective action in consultation with user community and IT support group. Document system designs, development processes, and integration specifications to ensure clarity and continuity across teams. Lead the design and implementation of Workday Extend applications and custom development projects. Develop and implement scalable, reusable integration patterns for Workday to ensure consistency and efficiency across applications. Act as a subject matter expert on Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and custom reports.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field. Five years of experience in programming and systems design with 3 years of recent experience in supporting Workday Integrations, Workday Extend, API's and reporting. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in at least one object-oriented language. Examples: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. Expert knowledge of API concepts (SOAP & REST), XML, XSLT 3.0, JSON, oAuth 2.0, encryption/secure, including experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST and SOAP APIs for data integrations from ground up. Proven experience with Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, Report as a Service, WQL, WWS, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB). Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom applications using Workday Extend platform including hands on building custom Orchestrations. Experience with application security, including API security models, network security, database, and credentials storage encryption. Being able to design policies that follow the cloud security best practices. Experience analyzing complex system-wide technical specifications and interfaces, debugging applications programs, and producing effective user and technical documentation.
Desired Qualifications: Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable Workday integrations for complex business systems. Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Workday Financials and Workday Strategic Sourcing. Experience with agile delivery methodologies and processes, Scrum and Kanban in particular, as well as knowledge and experience with CI/CD, release/configuration management, version control practices and toolsets such as: Jenkins, Ansible, CloudFormation, Bitbucket & Git. Experience managing the support and maintenance of several highly complex, large-scaled business critical systems/services in a large, decentralized, glo al organization. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing demands. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Certification in Workday Integration or Workday Extend.

Salary Information The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $91,800 - $137,800 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
