The position will work directly with team members to support creative design, digital activations, external and internal events, internal communication, and other communications projects as required. A Day in the Life

  • Supports Creative team in creative, design, digital and research execution as required

  • Works with Integrated Communications Specialists in coordination of customer and staff events, including organising travel, itineraries, agendas and associated logistics

  • Works with Integrated Communications Specialists on exhibition and tradeshow program

  • Supports Digital team with social media content execution as required

  • Works with the Senior Integrated Communications Manager to complete specialist projects as requested

  • Manages external content through the Advertising Materials compliance system

  • Updates company intranet as well as external website via Adobe Experience Manager

  • May manage third party design agencies and/or consultants in support of business objectives.

  • Maintains our marketing vendor list including processing procurement contracts

  • Observes all health and safety policies and procedures and take all reasonable care that actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of others

  • Work within and actively promote Medtronics Mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct

  • Complies with Medtronics Finance and Legal policies and procedures, respond to both Internal and External Audit enquiries in a timely manner, and ensure follow-up on Action Items to address Audit recommendations

Must Have:

  • Knowledge of MS Office suite of software

  • Basic knowledge of accounting or finance principles viewed favourably

  • Advanced Excel software competency an advantage or knowledge of SAP

  • Event coordination experience required

  • Basic knowledge of InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite viewed favourably

  • Social Media experience required

  • Strong creative and design skills

  • Strong planning and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Outstanding attention to detail

  • Customer focused with exceptional follow through and accountability

  • Good organisation and time management skills, including working independently and unsupervised, able to prioritise and handle multiple tasks

  • Self-motivated and positive, with a Can do attitude

  • Team oriented, proactive and friendly

  • Results oriented

  • At least three years experience in marketing support role, with broad exposure across marketing communication activations such as design, digital and events.
