Are you an experienced SAP SD + VAT Functional Lead Expert?

At dsm-firmenich you will have an overall responsibility for managing OTC & VAT related requirements and projects. You will have the ability to design and deliver solutions as part our digital transformation program road map i.e. rollout project, global solution deployment and S4/HANA transformation, considering performance, data quality and business continuity.

Your key responsibilities:

Order Management Chapter

• Run, Execute and deliver solutions in project mode (Design, Configuration, Set Up, Test and Solution Validation) including cut over, go live and hyper care.

• Address level 3 support for complex issues

• Direct and clear interaction with business key stakeholders: requirements gathering, solution design, day-to-day communications.

• Commitment on delivery dates and high-quality performance

• Contribute to the delivery of improvement plan impacting the OTC functional domain.

• Suggesting process improvements for the area

  Solution Delivery

• Execute as part of a platform/product delivery model by acting as a product manager, product squad member or project team member.

• As part of successful solution delivery, accountable for executing the functional solution design considering customer / user experience / target audiences, data modelling and relationships – along with integration implications with other internal and external platforms, functional logic, etc.

• Executing the feasibility assessment of functional solutions to determine effort estimate, collaborating with necessary D&T stakeholders (solution architects, integration experts, etc.)

• Collaborate closely with technical resources to determine the technical design in line with the functional solution design and understand the impact and implications of various solution options from business operations to technical performance.

  You bring:

• A Bachelors/ Masters Degree and working experience in a related field.

• SAP certification

• Excellent functional knowledge on SAP Sales and Distribution functional domain:

• Order flow from quotation, order, delivery, ATP check, warehouse handling, transport to invoice and credit/debit memo

• Credit management, surcharges, pricing, output, order status changes, supply chain, ATP check and E-invoicing

• Third Party Order, Intercompany Sales and Stock transfer process

• Proven experience with SAP O2C VAT processes, including design, development, implementation, and maintenance:

• Strong understanding of flow of Goods/Service and flow of Invoice

• Understanding of Input/Output tax

• Knowledge on Customer and Vendor – VAT registration and implication on VAT determination (for EMEA)

• Strong knowledge on Group VAT and implications on downstream processes (OTC, PTP, Intracommunity Sales-Purchase)

• Strong knowledge on Incoterms and the implication on VAT regime

• Current knowledge on implementation on Tax Procedure and Audit Support

• Understanding of Plant Abroad/Consignment Flows/Bonded Warehouse

• Previous exposure to Project management aspects

• Familiarity with complex system landscapes, including SAP cross-module interaction (as SD>FICO, WM and MM)

• Ability to work effectively in a global virtual team according to hybrid working model
