Career Launch Manager - WDT

SALARY: * *$60,306.25 - $65,799.75

LOCATION: Lynnwood, Washington

DESCRIPTION:  

The Career Launch Manager plays a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and managing Career Launch Programs across our campus. This position is responsible for coordinating with Deans, faculty, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of these programs, which are designed to enhance students' career readiness and opportunities. The Manager will track program metrics, manage student engagement, and foster relationships with employers and community partners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong education and workforce development background, along with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. This role requires a proactive and collaborative individual who is passionate about supporting student success and expanding career pathways. This is a full-time exempt position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Career Launch Program Coordination:

  • Coordinate all Career Launch Programs across campus.
  • Collaborate with Deans and Faculty on current Career Launch programming.
  • Track FTEs to ensure allocation targets are met.
  • Report quarterly to Deans on program success and challenges.

Student Navigation:

  • Track student participation and completion in Career Launch programs.
  • Manage student groups in ctcLink.
  • Connect students with campus resources such as Academic Advising, Career Services, and Tutoring.
  • Manage electronic files for each student, including Academic Plans.
  • Collaborate with work-based learning placements to ensure student success and employer satisfaction.

Program Development:

  • Research and develop new Career Launch opportunities.
  • Utilize Labor Market Information (LMI) data to understand career opportunities.
  • Collaborate with faculty, the Career Action Center, regional employers, high school partners, and community organizations.
  • Assist with Program Builder Grants as needed.

Career Launch Endorsement Management:

Manage the Career Launch Endorsement process.
