Job Description Summary

The Program Execution focal will work in conjunction with Model Engineers, and Project Managers, Platform Leaders, to execute program milestones, deliverables, and cost, supporting the T700/CT7 family of turboshaft and turboprop engines. The Export and Tagging leader will support and guide the Rotorcraft Engineering Team on all Export and Tagging work scope requests.

The Commercial & Military Systems Program Execution & Export Leader will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives, and will have prime responsibility as the Export Focal and support all Commercial & Military customer/company funded programs.

Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process, including all activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product to meets the user’s needs.

This position is located on-site in Lynn, MA and follows the standard site schedule, which at this time provides some flexibility for occasional work from home and is subject to change based on business and program needs.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates all aspects of and serves as primary focal for Technical Reviews twice per year (CIP Conferences) or as directed by customer for 140 attendees.

  • Manages US Government (USG) Deliverables including financial reports, Spec Change Notices, Engineering Change Proposals, Engineering Management System revisions and project reports. Responsible for final construction and formatting of documents based on content generated by the engineering team and for obtaining all internal GE reviews and approvals, submitting to the USG, and monitoring USG review/approval status and any required rework.

  • Manages charge numbers associated with T700 programming, including creation and expiration.

  • Provide Engineering support for future US Government proposals and yearly CIP contracts by generating Program Plans and resource planning, finance preparation, program schedules and Engineering Leadership review support.

  • Develops Standard Work for Program Management Execution.

  • Responsible for Monthly Cost & Performance reporting; Monthly and Weekly Program Execution Reviews with Cost Account Managers and Model Engineers

  • Responsible for Army, Navy Contract Integration with Contracts and Project Teams

  • Serves as section focal for Compliance Export Tagging by managing section tagging process, maintaining tagger lists and supporting timely tagging requests; provides team with guidance and export support resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant engineering position.

Desired Characteristics

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar engineering position.

  • Skilled with the Aerospace Financial Systems like Clarity.

  • Experience in Earned Value Management and Open Plan/Master Scheduling

  • Experience in Government Proposal Management and US Military Contract Integration

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Established project management skills.
