GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asphalt Paving Crew Foreman to lead our paving crew in delivering high-quality asphalt paving projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the paving crew, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional workmanship.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the asphalt paving crew to achieve project goals and deadlines.

• Project Coordination: Coordinate with the superintendent and/or project manager to plan and execute asphalt paving projects efficiently.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of asphalt paving work meets industry standards and client expectations.

• Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and proper utilization of paving equipment and vehicles.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that the crew follows all safety guidelines and regulations.

• Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to crew members to enhance their skills and performance.

• Scheduling: Develop and maintain work schedules to meet project timelines and deadlines.

• Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, superintendents, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Problem Solving: Identify and address issues or challenges that may arise during paving operations.

• Budget Management: Work with superintendent and/or project manager to monitor and control costs related to labor, materials, and equipment within budgetary constraints.
