BWXT's Nuclear Operations Group, Inc. (NOG) is looking for a Digital Transformation Project Manager in Lynchburg, VA!
Join our NOG Digital Transformation team and lead business process improvement initiatives to modernize business systems and upscale and streamline processes across NOG. The Digital Transformation Office partners with stakeholders to liaise between the business and IT to deliver world-class enterprise applications focused on streamlining our processes and user experience. You will work closely with various BWXT departments and sites to understand business challenges, develop innovative strategies to optimize business processes and bring digital technologies to solve identified problems. Some initiatives include migrating programs and data off the IBM Mainframe, optimizing digital data collection, and upgrading the existing Manufacturing Execution System (Solumina) software. You will also help develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and adopt new processes and technology.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Process Analysis & Optimization:
Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize resource utilization.
Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with peers to create consistent processes and practices across the organization.
Put together project teams and collaborates with IT to evaluate and implement new technologies and digital tools to enhance process efficiency.
Project Management:
Lead and manage process improvement projects from conception to implementation.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, by increasing employee adoption and usage.
Prepare and present regular reports on process improvement projects and their impact on business performance.
Define and measure success metrics and monitors change progress.
Change Management - Driving the People Side of the Change:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and successful adoption of new processes.
Help to create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
Collaborate with BWXT leadership, IT teams, and other key stakeholders to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives.
Work with site training departments to develop training materials and coordinate sessions to educate staff on new processes and digital tools.
Evaluate and ensure user readiness.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience in process improvement, project management, and change management OR
a high school diploma/GED and 10 years of relevant experience in process improvement, project management, and change management.
Willing to work full time in the Lynchburg, VA site. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:
At least 2 years of project management experience.
Proven experience partnering with IT to lead digital transformation projects.
Proficient in data analysis and process mapping tools.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Experience with Prosci ADKAR® Model; Solid understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
Pay: $[[custsalaryMin]] - $[[custsalaryMax]]
The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
