Adecco US, Inc. Inspector - Req 1309 in Lyman, Nebraska

The Inspector I is responsible for checking and inspecting incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This position will be Monday-Thursday starting at $18.00 an hour.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct short-cycle, repetitive inspections of standard parts using standardized methods and procedures

  • Visually inspect or check parts using precision measuring instruments or against established standards

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections

  • Conduct periodic spot checks of a limited variety of machined parts for adherence to specifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED

  • 3 months of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of related experience

  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector

Frequent activities include:

  • Reaching by extending hands and arms

  • Handling objects by seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands

  • Picking, pinching, or otherwise working primarily with fingers

  • Having near acuity with clarity of vision at 20 inches or less

  • Judging distances and spatial relationships (seeing objects three-dimensionally)

  • Adjusting vision to bring objects into sharp focus

Occasional activities include:

  • Stooping by bending the body downward and forward, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles

  • Perceiving attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touch

  • Identifying and distinguishing colors

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
