Amazon Sr. Marketing Manager, Environmental Compliance in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

In our vision to build a global marketplace, we will enable Sellers to list, make their selection available to customers globally while optimizing their inventory placement across multiple countries.

Amazon Circular Economy Services support Selling Partners with their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations in Europe. We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager who will own the strategy, planning, development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies for environmental compliance solutions to increase Selling Partner awareness, engagement and adoption. You will work with the Marketing Lead to research the market offering, define the market segmentation, product entitlement, yearly forecast and adoption targets for cross regional sales team. You will be responsible for the awareness, adoption and marketing of environmental solutions, direct and self-service recruitment, Selling Partner communication and engagement as well as providing insights to improve the offering. You will also be responsible to create seller-facing communication and content, marketing assets and defining channel strategy.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Develop and Implement Marketing and Adoption Strategies for environmental compliance solutions

  2. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, using insights to refine marketing and sales approaches.

  3. Develop and manage a content marketing strategy that includes educational and marketing materials to engage target audiences on compliance topics.

  4. Create and execute product marketing campaigns that highlight the unique value propositions of compliance solutions

  5. Plan and coordinate online trainings, webinars, workshops, and industry events to educate potential and existing sellers on compliance best practices and service offerings.

  6. Work closely with Seller Experience, Product, Legal, Strategic Communication teams to ensure alignment in messaging and experience.

  7. Monitor and analyze marketing and sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.

  8. Oversee the selection and management of the most effective marketing and communications channels and the channel mix strategy

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.

  • Over 7 years of professional experience in marketing or a closely related field, with a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, including acquisition marketing and channel programs.

  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, including email marketing and content marketing, and experience developing and managing cross-functional marketing campaigns.

  • Strong ability to use data and metrics to drive marketing decisions and improve performance.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and deliver impactful presentations.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing marketing budgets and optimizing expenditures for maximum return on investment.

  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, content management systems (CMS), and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving business needs, with experience managing campaigns across multiple time zones and languages.

  • Strong understanding of customer needs and behaviors, with the ability to develop strategies that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

  • Experience in international marketing or collaborating with global teams, particularly in executing campaigns across diverse regions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience driving direction, alignment, and collaboration across large cross-functional teams and with external agency partners to achieve marketing objectives.

  • Experience designing and executing joint, integrated marketing campaigns that leverage a mix of digital, traditional, and emerging channels with strategic alliance partners, particularly those with a global footprint, to expand market reach and drive growth.

  • Proficiency in data manipulation, including the use of macros, charts, and pivot tables, to analyze trends, generate insights, and inform strategic marketing decisions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of developing creative solutions to complex marketing challenges, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement.
