To help us achieve this mission, the Kindle & Books team is looking for a product marketing leader to drive new initiatives that connects readers with stories from authors they love.

As the Go to Market (GTM) lead, the individual will plan and implement the roll-out of new product features and programs to promote reading worldwide. The successful candidate will be a seasoned product/program/marketing manager, capable of delivering new initiatives that delights readers and authors in a scalable way. They will be detail-oriented and organised, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities, while operating at scale across teams, functions, and geographies. The candidate will also work and build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• Own a variety of GTM projects (existing & potential)

• Develop new and manage existing mechanisms to accelerate project internationalization

• Define the most winning innovation opportunities customers are seeking for, competitors have but we don’t have

• Collaborate on a 3-year roadmap for GTM strategy for global marketplaces including feasibility analysis

• Execute projects in the most relevant way to our different customer needs

• Manage the complexity and ambiguity in changing expectations from customers and marketplaces

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years relevant work experience in product/program/marketing management

  • Strategical thinking with executing capability

  • Experience partnering across a global organization and influencing across multiple teams

  • Able to work in a diverse team

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and advance projects’ business cases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing products from inception to launch

  • Experience defining and executing marketing strategies and GTM plans

  • Savvy interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization (e.g. Marketing, Product, Engineering, Design, Legal, Public Relations and Senior Leadership)

  • International/inter-cultural work experience

  • Additional European languages (e.g. German, Italian, French, Spanish)
