Amazon Product Ops Manager - EU, EU Marketplace Compliance in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

The Amazon Marketplace is a critical part of the Amazon ecosystem which offers millions of sellers the opportunity to build and grow their business using Amazon’s reach and expertise. Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the Earth’s largest selection and lowest prices. In our vision to build a global marketplace, we will enable Sellers to list, make their selection available to customers globally while optimizing their inventory placement across multiple countries.

Post Brexit, there were a number of changes to the way Amazon and its inventory operated across the new UK-EU customs border. To enable seamless movement of inventory for sellers across this new customs border (hence preserving selection for customers), the Amazon Customs Clearance and Shipping Services was created in 2021. This program will enable thousands of sellers move over 75 million units of inventory with minimal effort by 2025.

As a Product Ops Manager on the team, you will lead high-impact product features and programs across Cross-Border product and partner teams to drive strategic initiatives on behalf of our Sellers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple deliverables, passionate about data and Seller Experience, and has excellent business acumen and business communication skills. You are excited about the positive impact Cross-Border Services on Amazon can have for Sellers and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and collaborative environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work closely with product team and key stakeholders to own key features and processes for improving Eco-contribution declaration and compliance goals.

  • Actively seek ways to improve product related process efficiencies and effectiveness.

  • Proactively identify gaps or blockers to seller experience, propose solutions, and drive implementation across partner teams.

  • Communicate updates on key strategic programs and metrics to leaders and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level

  • Experience translating customer needs into business requirements

  • Experience working with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements
