Kuehne+Nagel Key Account Manager Industrials Global Account Program in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Join us as a Key Account Manager for our Industrials Global Account Program, where you’ll shape meaningful customer relationships, manage complex logistics solutions, and be a key player in a world-class team.

Your Role

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) in our Industrials Global Account Program, you’ll be responsible for the complete commercial customer journey within your assigned portfolio, acting as the primary representative for all our services. You’ll foster strong, enduring relationships with key customer stakeholders, identifying opportunities, and transforming them into actionable plans. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll lead account management activities in alignment with our Key Account Program guidelines to drive both customer satisfaction and business growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Directly manage assigned key accounts, ensuring alignment with agreed targets and customer needs

  • Gain deep understanding of the customer’s organizational structure, decision-making process, and competitive landscape

  • Negotiate rates and service contracts, ensuring all commercial requirements are documented and maintained

  • Leverage expert knowledge of Kuehne+Nagel’s vertical service offerings to support customer success

  • Monitor monthly performance metrics (e.g., pipeline, wins/losses, financials) and take corrective action when necessary

  • Develop and maintain an account plan for each client, using Key Account Planning processes and templates

  • Facilitate smooth handovers for new business opportunities, ensuring operational teams meet customer expectations

  • Conduct regular review sessions with customers to drive continuous improvement and review customer strategy, priorities, and performance

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Studies, Business, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s in Supply Chain is preferred

  • Proven track record in business development, consultative sales, and stakeholder management

  • Strong understanding of supply chain logistics across Air, Sea, Road, CL, and IL

  • Skills in consultative selling, negotiation, and persuasion

  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional relationships within a global network

  • Fluent in English; other language proficiencies are a plus

  • Willingness to travel as needed
