Amazon Business Intelligence Engineer, Transportation Network Configuration in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Description

Amazon’s Global Transportation Services team is looking for an enthusiastic and customer obsessed Business intelligence Engineer to help us drive changes and manage operational excellence to support in optimizing our transportation network.

The role will involve understanding transportation processes, from our fulfillment centers on to our final mile carriers who deliver our packages to our customers. As part of the Transportation Configuration Team you will combine business process knowledge, data expertise, and analysis skills to identify and drive programs within our transportation network.

To be successful in the role, you need analytical skills, ability to influence across business functions and manage stakeholders’ expectations effectively.

Key job responsibilities

  • Development and execution of operational excellence metrics, dashboards, and reporting

  • Contribute to the strategy, prioritize technical and operational initiatives, evaluate and set stakeholders expectations.

  • Development of necessary BI tools and solutions to enable optimal evaluation of the network

About the team

SCALE is a team with Transportation Network Configuration, delivering innovative solutions to ensure long-term scalability of the EU network configuration. The team is composed of a mix of PMs and BIEs who work together and cross-team to automate, simplify, standardize and audit configuration of transportation and sortation data.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Luxembourg, LUX

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

  • Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)

  • Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience in the data/BI space

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced technical degree, or Master's degree

  • Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design

  • Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
