Description:

You will be the Program Quality Assurance Associate Manager for the Lufkin, TX facility responsible for supporting all aspects of Quality and Mission Success for the THAAD program.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Program Quality Assurance Associate Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing strategic plans for the THAAD quality department, staffing, and providing direction to THAAD quality personnel. Your responsibilities will include:

• Act as quality liaison with local product management and cross functional team leaders

• Significant interface with customers including on-site DCMA personnel

• Knowledgeable and capable of developing and implementing quality systems in support of site Operations program execution while complying with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.

• Supports quality leadership team in implementing strategy and quality assessment processes resulting in timely delivery of compliant processes presented to customers (both internal and external)

• Must be able to drive business improvements into current programs and functional areas while ensuring that effective preventive and corrective strategies are defined and executed.

• In order to perform required tasks overtime (that is time worked in excess of a 40 hour work week) may be required at the discretion of management

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in technical engineering or related discipline

- Strong understanding and working knowledge of ISO9000 / AS9100 Quality Management Systems.

- Previous quality experience with product life cycles including development through sales and delivery.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

- Advanced understanding of Quality principles.

- Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material.

- Experience in solving complex problems associated with the quality of products and with regard to quality owned processes (FAI, CCB, CAB, etc.)

- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

- Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

- Bachelors with at least 9 years of professional experience, or Masters degree with at least 7 years of professional experience.

- Experienced as a leader of direct report employees

- Experience working with Government customers in the Aerospace Industry

- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

- Advanced AS9102 Interpretation and application experience

- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) technical experience

- Experience in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE)

- Familiarization with the requirements of the THAAD program

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
