Program Manager and On Track Champion
Position Description:
The Program Manager and On Track Champion supports special student populations as they navigate their university experience. This can include first time at Tech students, students outside of Good Academic Standing, and those returning from Academic Probation or Suspension. This position works alongside students by facilitating in-person and virtual connections, academic success plans, and intentional efforts that education and empower them to stay on track towards degree completion. This position works collaboratively across the university and academic colleges as part of an integrated and coordinated success team.

Major/Essential Functions:
Utilizes Raider Success Hub to monitor, communicate with, and support assigned student populations, in addition to managing and maintaining student alerts, campaigns, notes, and success plans/ tasks.
Meets 1:1 with assigned student populations, special groups, walk-ins, or referrals, to support students in co-creating and maintaining success plans that will address academic, social, or personal challenges they may be experiencing.
Participates in targeted student intervention campaigns such as non-attendance alerts and midterm grade alerts.
Partners with academic colleges, success specialists, and student support areas to stay informed on university resources, address student needs, and provide warm hand-offs or referrals.
Develops and maintains a repository of best practices, tools, and templates referred to as “Success Pathways.”
Supports the marketing, outreach, and engagement efforts for Academic Success efforts, campaigns, and student experiences.
Supports special projects within Red Raider Academic Success such as the Red Success Planner and the Academic Success Locker.
Leads the research, development, and dissemination of knowledge on focused special populations within RRAS such as Incoming First Year, Transfer Students, Students on Academic Warning or Probation or Online learners.
Stay connected to emerging research, best practices, and student experience needs and offer recommendations, innovative ideas, and solutions to ongoing student success challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, or a related field.
Two (2) years of experience working with students in a college or university, or education-adjacent role.
Two (2) years working with college students in an advising or student support capacity.
Two (2) years of experience with case load management.
Experience working with or leading academic success initiatives, workshops, or events.
Experience with data management, tracking, analysis, and reporting.

Required Qualifications:
