The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center invites applications for a full-time, 12-month non-tenure-track clinical instructor position for the Speech-Language Pathology program. Applicants must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with assessing and treating communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in adults. Additionally, the successful applicant must complete the ASHA requirement for supervision of graduate interns. This position will require the individual to provide and supervise clinical services to patients in the TTUHSC Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic and at contracted sites such as the Montford Regional Medical Facility.

University : The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is a multi-campus institution, with the campus in Lubbock serving as the administrative center. While there are four additional regional campuses, this position is solely for the Lubbock campus. Department : The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, administratively housed in the School of Health Professions, offers two undergraduate programs (traditional Bachelor’s and a post-baccalaureate) and three graduate programs (Master’s in SLP, AuD, and the Communication Disorders concentration for the PhD in Rehabilitation Science). The Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic offers assessment and intervention for adults and children with speech, language, and hearing disorders, and serves as a major resource for interprofessional education, practice, and research.
