US Foods Bid Coordinator, Lead in Lubbock, Texas

BASIC PURPOSE

Monitors and maintenance of USDA orders and inventory. Supports Sales leadership with key IND/Reg concept relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

.

  • Conduct weekly product maintenance in Moxe MLM, WEBSCM, and TANDEM, including actual set up and addition and deletion of items, and setting allocations for the schools.

  • Verify orders are entered for the correct delivery days, and work with transportation on any changes needed.

  • Maintain allocation spreadsheet and communicate to the schools every week.

  • Attend TDA meetings as needed.

  • Coordinate quarterly inventory audits with TDA, create action plan of findings, and process credits/debits as needed for inventory corrections.

  • Work cross functionally with inventory control and transportation as needed to resolve any issues for USDA orders.

  • Weekly and Monthly reporting that must be submitted to the TDA Contracting Officer.

  • Analyze current bid profitability.

  • Prep and prepare bid renewals with division leadership and region legal team.

  • Create and maintain excel spreadsheets as needed and requested from TDA.

  • Team up with Territory Managers & MAEs (average 10) to actively support the Area’s top IND/REG customers through regular, scheduled contact and drive sales performance.

  • Leverage proprietary US Foods systems and tools to quickly and accurately answer inquiries to provide insight. Systems and tools include, but is not limited to the following: US Foods On Line, Salesforce.com, Edge, PRISM, Retalix, Enterprise Product Search (EPS), Demand Communication Tool (DCT), SODS system for Special Orders, CDMR for Credit requests, Tandem – SMOI for Special Order Management, CES Quotes to support Equipment & Supply Sales

  • Provide administrative support to Territory Managers and Sales Management to process credits, special orders, drop-ships, re-routing delivery days, will calls, etc.

  • Attend department sales meetings, product trainings and cuttings to develop and grow product and vendor knowledge as required.

  • Respond to product receiving and pricing inquiries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Hybrid : This role is partially remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a combined home-based and office-based environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Data Entry (1 year)

  • Microsoft Office knowledge - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. (1 year)

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Repeated hand and wrist movement in data entry.

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand during 8 hour shift

  • Must have ability to withstand long periods of time working at personal computer.

  • Lifting to 10 lbs while handling office supply orders.
