CommonSpirit Health at Home Manager of Accounting in Loveland, Ohio

Overview

The Manager, Accounting is responsible for administering established Company standard accounting policies and procedures to ensure that adequate controls exist over the financial records of the companies. This position is responsible for providing sound accounting information on a timely basis; providing management with concise and timely analyses regarding significant charges, trends, or variance in financial and statistical information, ensuring availability of historical information on which plans can be based. The Manager, Accounting is responsible for ensuring that all companies are following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.

  • Creates an “expectation of excellence” and manages performance of direct reports to maximize the value of employees’ contributions towards organizational success.a) Establishes strategically aligned goals with staff.b) Encourages and creates opportunities for continuous improvement of staff by providing frequent coaching, mentoring, and accurate performance feedback.

  • Provides direction and support to staff to deliver quality services with a focus on organizational success.a) Ensures appropriate staffing levels are maintained.b) Recruits and retains qualified, productive and customer-focused employees.c) Interviews, hires and orients direct reports.d) Monitors recruitment/retention activities and costs.e) Provides fair and equitable treatment of all employees.f) Creates a high performing work environment characterized by transparent and open communication, mutual trust and respect.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Accounting. Three years of accounting management experience preferred,preferably in a health care environment

  • Excellent participative management skills, demonstrated ability toattract and retain strong performers; effectively leads, trains,develops, evaluates and manages staff performance.

  • Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills,including the ability to set priorities, manage multiple demandseffectively, use good judgment and achieve positive and timely results.Possesses a strong belief in an organizational culture that encouragesvaluing, recognizing and empowering employees, and best serviceexcellence practices demonstrated through personal behavior andwork ethic.

Pay Range

$32.98 - $47.82 /hour
