Veralto Plastics Specialist I, Onsite - Loveland, CO in Loveland, Colorado

The plastic Specialist I is responsible for manufacturing quality product according to the work order or other build signal while adhering to defined work instructions. General duties include setup, operation, and adjustment of plastic injection molding machines and related equipment.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Responsible for producing quality products per the build schedule

  • Operate injection molding machines to produce parts meeting quality specifications.

  • Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects.

  • Record and maintain Cell Boards and other visual management tools

  • Comply with company safety policies including safe operation of equipment, PPE usage, hand tool safety, lock-out-tag-out, and proper storage of tools, etc. Comply with good housekeeping policies.

  • Maintain equipment according to work instructions or preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Suggest improvements and support kaizen and continuous improvement activities.

  • Report complicated equipment malfunctions to mechanics.

  • Maintain visual management of part and raw material storage; clean and organized work area.

  • May be responsible for handling of and accurate disposal of chemical and non-chemical waste, some of which is hazardous and regulated.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Some areas will require the ability to work with manual and/or power equipment.

  • Ability to learn instrument or circuit board assembly (Loveland only), machine operations (including set up and changeover), and/or kitting.

  • Machine Operation experience preferred.

  • Possess working knowledge of manufacturing processes helpful.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $20.00 - $21.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
