This is a job for a Programmer Analyst position with a company located in the Louisville, MS area.

Duties/Responsibilities: Perform skilled technical work in the preparation of program design, coding, testing, and documenting. Maintain, upgrade, and extend our existing SharePoint applications. Provide support for Taylor production programs which will be written in COBOL, RPG, and WebSmart. Provide timely troubleshooting and resolution of issues as they arise and actively participate in detailed analysis to design enhancements or solve existing issues. May participate in the design of technical approaches to deliver future capabilities and assist in providing I.T. support to end users as needed. Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. In house ERP System support including all aspects of Accounting, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, and Sales. Analyze and maintain Information Technology systems and related work as required. Interfacing with users for the purpose of systems analysis is required. Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists and sites. Manage SharePoint end user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best practices. Support end users with all SharePoint related questions and issues. Create and maintain workflows. Work with users to gather data necessary to define specifications, test data, input/outputs, formats, etc. Write specifications and prepare the necessary file layouts, screen formats, and report formats in compliance with departmental documentation standards. Design and write efficient software programs using specified language while applying proper concepts of programming. Thoroughly prepare tests for programs, audit results, and correct errors in program logic. Write command procedures to execute program logic. Prepare and meet project estimates. Analyze existing and proposed systems to determine needs, strengths, weakness and cost effectiveness. Analyze existing programs to isolate problems or to determine more efficient methods. Compile written technical documentation to guide staff in production runs. Fulfill user requests for data extracts and special reports. Fulfill administrative reporting requirements. Stay abreast of new technology and have the ability to determine integration with current systems or determine possibilities of upgrading current systems with new/available technology.

Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Communicate effectively with other personnel in the department to understand requirements and provide solutions. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with fellow workers and other Taylor employees. Have ability to determine feasibility of expanding and/or upgrading from a production as well as a cost standpoint. Be aware of the sensitivity of information that one is exposed to and be vigilant in maintaining Confidentiality of this information. Various skill sets needed, including all aspects of Windows Servers, Microsoft Office 365 including Excel with embedded macros and SharePoint, cloud technology, collaboration, intranet, IBM i (iSeries, AS/400), SQL, API's between software applications and platforms. Perform all duties in a courteous and professional manner. Be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if an emergency problem exists.

Education and Experience: Must be knowledgeable of basic principles and practices of systems analysis, program development, and debugging. Desired skillsets are Sharepoint, CSS, HTML5, REST API, JQUERY, JAVASCRIPT, .NET, C#, COBOL, RPG, and WebSmart. A basic knowledge of computer hardware used by The Taylor Gr up of Companies is also required. This includes IBM iSeries (AS/400) using COBOL, RPG, and WebSmart. Have a working knowledge of Office 365. A general concept of programming is also necessary. A technical knowledge of PC's is a must.
