Taylor Machine Works Design Engineer II-4357/3550/20264 in Louisville, Mississippi

This is a job for a Design Engineer II position with a company located in Louisville, MS.

Job Summary: Design Engineer II is a position that requires some design experience. Depending on your experience level, and together with your team, you will use your skills and your engineering experience to design Taylor equipment. Projects will be advanced and range from small projects such as parts and assemblies to larger projects such as complex assemblies integrating electrical and hydraulic components. Using computer aided design (CAD) and engineering analysis skills you will creatively design parts and assemblies, translate your designs to technical drawings and manufacturing instructions, support your designs in the prototyping and manufacturing stages, and use your expertise to advise and improve your designs throughout the lifetime of the product. You will also create and maintain complex bills of materials (BOMs), process engineering revisions, and collaborate often with other engineers, management, and shop supervision.

Working Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Over 40 hours per week when necessary to meet project goals.

*Requirements: *Essential Functions/Qualifications: Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Candidate must possess advanced CAD and engineering analysis skills. Candidate should have 4-6 years of experience designing mobile equipment. Candidate must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will utilize data management tools such as spreadsheets, analytical tools, reporting software, and project management skills to support your designs.
