Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Louisville, Kentucky. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in our accounts payable and receivables, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the processing and managing of accounts payable and receivable
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately reported
• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to the accounts payable and receivable processes
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
• Provide assistance and support to the finance team as needed. Requirements • Must possess a strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) required
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is mandatory
• Familiarity with General Ledger operations is necessary
• Ability to handle Journal Entries is a must
• Experience in Month End Close procedures is required
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks
• Experience with Oracle in a financial context is desirable
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a requirement
• Experience with SAP in an accounting environment is necessary.
