POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Sr. Learning & Development Specialist leads the mission, values, and culture of Republic Bank by working closely as a resource, advisor, and consultant with all departments of the bank. This position will coordinate, develop, and deliver training covering various sales, service, banking, technology, soft skill, and hard skill topics, while ensuring linkage to company goals and values. In addition, this position will serve as an administrator and analyst for the bank's Learning Management System.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum of 5 years classroom training/presentation or OTJ experience required.
* Minimum of 5 years Banking/Financial Services experience using banking systems preferred.
* Experience in design and development of training programs required.
* Knowledge and application of course design fundamentals and use of Learning Management System software required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint) required.
* Experience with video and computer-based conferencing methods required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Demonstrate superior facilitation skills in delivering learning and development solutions.
* Consult with Department Leaders and functional experts to lead the design, development, and management of effective learning and performance focused solutions to meet training needs and business objectives. This includes, but not limited to, assessing client needs, developing the learning strategy, designing/maintaining training programs and delivery methods, and determining innovative learning methodology.
* Coach and serve as a resource for other trainers on methodologies to improve training effectiveness and efficiency.
* Design and distribute evaluations to trainees to determine training effectiveness and identify course redesign opportunities.
* Monitor and track performance of trainees and provides follow up as needed. Offer insights to management on complex procedures to explore any identified efficiency opportunities.
* Create, update, and maintain records for associate and manager training assignments utilizing LMS system. Resolve technical issues for users as appropriate.
* Analyze data to understand training effectiveness and seeks out opportunities to improve training delivery.
* Serve as training lead to Project Management teams and projects as needed. Create and deliver needed training as determined by the project.
* Contribute to the overall success of the department by identifying ways to continuously improve the learning process and enhance training efficiency and effectiveness.
* Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, and distance vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* Travel between Republic Banking facilities is required.
* Occasional out-of-town travel is required.
* Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings and weekends.
* Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
