Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Louisville, Kentucky. The Sr. Accountant will be part of our team where they will be responsible for account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Reviewing and reconciling balance sheets and bank statements

• Analyzing and reporting on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation, and analysis

• Improving processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation

• Assisting in month-end close procedures

• Preparing journal entries and executing related controls

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks and reporting

• Ensuring compliance with all internal processes

• Collaborating with internal teams to improve financial procedures. Requirements

• Must possess expertise in account reconciliation

• Proficient in balance sheet reconciliation

• Should be able to perform bank reconciliations

• Familiarity with general ledger management is required

• Must be capable of managing journal entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Must be able to handle month-end close activities

• Experience with NetSuite is preferred

• Knowledge of Oracle is a plus
