Pay: $16.60-$20.60 (up to 18% increase in hourly pay when waive benefits)

The Receptionist will provide professional and efficient clerical support to the facility, resulting in the delivery of excellent internal and external customer service. First level of support for facility security and participant, staff and visitor safety.

ALL required qualifications will be verified before start date.
- Minimum one-year secretarial experience
- Must have an active and up-to-date certification in CPR
- A minimum of one-year (1) experience in working with the frail or elderly population.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
- Ability to independently operate computer programs and support Executive Assistant with managing inventory
- Able to communicate, verbally and in writing, and work effectively with various levels of staff, participants, family members and the public.
- Proficient typing required.
- Assumes responsibility for designated clerical and receptionist duties at front desk.
- Receives incoming telephone calls, screens for correct transfer and connects with appropriate party.
- Greets and directs visitors; greets, screens and directs salespersons as advised.
- Monitors for building safety and initiates emergency response when necessary.
- Coordinates with maintenance department to ensure building is properly maintained.
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail; receives and routes package deliveries.
- Competent in VOANS SCC Emergency Medical Procedures.
