Bonus and OT eligible Job Description: Job Responsibilities The Seat Assembler is part of the Production department and reports to the Line Supervisor Work as a team member on a production line adding various components to the seat assembly Assure Safety & Quality standards are always followed Contribute fully to continuous improvement initiatives Adhere to 5S and World Class Housekeeping standards Help to achieve team performance goals and objectives Identify and record any problems related to the product, process, and quality system Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands & arms Repetitive gripping and dexterous use of hands Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required One year of related experience preferred Assemblers Special Requirements or Call outs: (ex: standing for long hours, lifting requirements, etc.) n/a Transportation/Parking Information (Is the clients site accessible by public transportation? The plant frequently has customers and other visitors and we want to maintain our high standards at all times. It is also important to note safety hazards in the facility when considering your attire for work. Associates should dress in a manner that avoids any potential safety hazard. For more information in regard to safety and attire, please refer to the Safety policy. 1. All fulltime Lear Louisville Hourly Associates who have been issued shirts, are to wear the company issued shirts with the Lear logo. Shirts are not to be altered in any way. 2. Loose clothing or jewelry is not permitted for safety reasons. Hooded sweatshirts with strings hanging are not permitted. All necklaces should be tucked into shirt and secure. Long hair must be pulled back and secured. 3. Pants hanging or sagging on the hips are not permitted. Pants are to be worn at or above the waistline. Associates should wear a belt, if necessary. 4. No bags are permitted on the shop floor, all bags must be stored in lockers. 5. Any clothing items that may cause seat damage (belt buckles, buttons, zippers, rings, watches, etc.) are not permitted or must be covered when possible. 6. No opentoed shoes. Socks and work shoes must be worn at all times this includes no high heels or open heeled shoes. 7. No spaghetti strap or sleeveless shirts. 8. No biker shorts or spandex pants or leggings. 9. Shorts should be at a modest length (no more than 4 inches above knee). 10. No attired that may offend others (including individuals race, religion, color, national origin, marital status or sexual orientation). Pay Details: $17.00 per week
