Waystar Learning & Development (Human Resources) Intern in Louisville, Kentucky

ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Human Resources Intern to join our People Team with a focus on Learning Development. This role is ideal for someone pursuing a career in Human Resources and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in building and organizing playbooks for internal development programs.

  • Assist in developing and managing communication strategies related to program offerings, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across platforms.

  • Support the design and maintenance of SharePoint sites to promote and communicate learning and development opportunities.

  • Contribute to the design and creation of the 2025 Learning and Development brochure, highlighting key programs and initiatives.

  • Participate in the discovery and design process of new training programs, working alongside our Instructional Designer to assist in content creation.

  • Work closely with the Summit Seeker program manager to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of workshops and events.

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather information and feedback for L&D initiatives.

  • Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategy discussions to support the team’s objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

What You’ll Need

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

  • 3.0 or above GPA

  • Strong acumen of Program Management, Microsoft Suite including Teams

  • Interest in healthcare and/or technology ​industry

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail 

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR data
