POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance to company employees and supporting the IT Department across the organization. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical support to all company employees; including hardware, software, networking, printers, and an assortment of business applications. Company systems are primarily Windows-based, however there is a percentage of macOS-based laptops as well.Respond to and resolve help desk tickets quickly and efficiently.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft 365 applications, in both desktop and cloud-based configurations.Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other peripherals.Communicate with outside companies as needed to resolve issues with accounts, hardware, or software.Any additional job-related duties and responsibilities as determined by supervisor.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree, IT or relevant business field preferred Experience: No specific prior experience required, however, relevant coursework, internships, and/or job history are a plus Technical Skills: Advanced troubleshooting skills, strong familiarity with Windows and Microsoft 365 applications, comprehensive understanding of computer hardware, and comfort generally with enterprise software Certificates & Licenses: Additional technical certifications are a plus Other Skills: Professionalism, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn and take on new challenges, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment required. Work Schedule: General business hours Monday - Friday 9:00 to 5:00; occasional evening and weekend availability unlikely but possible Amount of Travel Required: Less than 10%
