Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Louisville, Kentucky

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, managing their orders and addressing their concerns. You will also be responsible for maintaining customer records and supporting sales staff to optimize customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: • Take and process customer orders with precision • Follow up with customers on all issues related to their order • Update customer files with changes in address, pricing quoted by salesperson, delivery instructions or other necessary notes • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members • Communicate with operations team and sales personnel on product availability and shipment status • Send orders to shipping department within required timeframes • Process customer product returns in accordance with prescribed procedures • Provide order acknowledgements and act as an administrator for SDS and COA • Ensure customer master data is up to date in systems and profiles • Carry out any additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and dealing with both inbound and outbound calls.

• Experience in a call center customer service environment.

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on resolving customer issues.

• Proficiency in data entry tasks, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

• Experience in order entry processes.

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively for customers and team members.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• High school diploma or equivalent, higher education or certifications in relevant fields are a plus.
