Wieland is hiring a Compensation Manager. The Compensation Manager will manage the development, implementation and administration of employee compensation programs for North America. As the subject matter expert, you will drive compensation projects and analysis for all areas of the Wieland North America organization.

This role is located in Louisville, KY with potential for a hybrid schedule.

While this role is local, occasional travel to other locations will be required (15-25% travel).

Responsibilities

Compensation Manager Responsibilities:

* Lead the development, deployment and administration of compensation plans that are fair, competitive, supportive of organizational strategies and compliant with company direction, local laws, pay equity or other statutory requirements
* Partner with the Director of HR Operations and Compensation to execute annual compensation processes including, but not limited to, compensation program design, budgeting, pay equity review, M&A integrations, bonus programs and implementation of new compensation programs
* Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Payroll to fulfill pay equity compliance reporting requirements and prepare presentations for leadership reviews.
* Partner with HRIS to ensure accurate compensation-related HR data, acting as a compensation SME for system implementations impacting compensation.
* Help manage the annual compensation planning cycle, while partnering with HR business partners and other colleagues to facilitate recommendations and pay actions
* Conduct benchmarking analyses using external market surveys; working with external providers and consultants on internal recommendations
* Analyzing and compiling large amounts of compensation data for analysis, forecasting, and reporting
* Partner with the Talent team to craft communications related to annual compensation planning, compensation analyses and related initiatives
* Support and advise on compensation related activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retention
* Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Compensation Manager Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field
* 7+ years of experience in broad-based compensation, job leveling and pay equity reviews
* Experience integrating M&A
* Experience working in a global environment, preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to analyze data, create and share meaningful insights
* Innovative team player with skills to work in a fast-paced environment
* Proven attention to detail with ability to handle confidential data
