Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead a range of medium-to-large scale projects with many complexities through all phases of design and construction processes with clients and their stakeholders, design Teams, consultants, contractors and vendors

  • Provide leadership to clients and oversee a staff of architects, engineers and technicians as well as project manager assistants, project managers, superintendents, engineers and the preconstruction department by creating a clear project plan, leading the design process, encouraging prompt action and clearly communicating and managing project goals and objectives, budgets, scope, deliverables and schedule

  • Provide leadership including mentoring, professional development, and hands-on coaching to Team members

  • Monitor and control the execution of projects in accordance with internal quality processes to deliver profitable, high quality design projects on time and within budget

  • You will be the go-to Team member to help resolve issues and move projects along while identifying opportunities to find additional value for our clients

  • Schedule Development/Monitoring for design projects

  • Assist PM on preliminary Estimate of Cost of the Work

  • Space Schematics/Flow Diagrams

  • Existing Facilities Surveys

  • Marketing Studies; Economic Feasibility Studies

  • Advise on Project Financing

  • Site Development Services

  • Site Analysis

  • Site Development Planning

  • Coordinate: Civil Engineering

Key Skill Requirements

  • Professional architectural education with architecture licensure

  • Or architecturally related Bachelor degree with equivalent work experience that lead to architectural licensure in the United States

  • NCARB certified 10 years minimum working as a licensed architect

  • 5 years of project management and design leadership experience with a proven track record as the Project Architect from project start through construction administration

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without any restrictions or visa sponsorship
