About Talent Experience Operations and Talent Analytics:
The Talent Experience Operations (TEO) team is primarily responsible for developing the Talent ecosystem. The broad composition of the team includes Lifecycle operations (all workflows across the candidate, employee and contingent talent journey), Talent Analytics, Technology strategy, and Global Programs like Benefits, Mobility, Employee Health, Accessibility, etc.
Talent Analytics partners with leaders across Netflix and the Talent organization to better inform decisions around workforce, talent and org strategy with relevant data and insights. The team leverages its diverse backgrounds and an interdisciplinary approach to define the strategy, approach, and tool(s) best suited to address the question at hand.
The Role:
The Senior Manager will manage a small team to build a sophisticated reporting and analytics strategy for Talent Acquisition with the end goals of driving a smarter and more efficient recruitment strategy, optimizing the candidate experience, and hiring the best talent for Netflix. From informing system and process design with data and intelligence at the center, to developing meaningful and business-relevant insights for executives, this leader will provide partnership and leadership across the talent acquisition data lifecycle, across a range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with global TA leadership to deliver recruiting metrics such as funnel pass-through, representation, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, operational/productivity metrics, and candidate quality, while identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Analyze, interpret, and communicate data effectively for executive reporting. Partner closely with leadership on a day-to-day basis.
Leverage historical data to forecast hiring needs, anticipate talent shortages, and proactively build talent pipelines. Be an active collaborator in strategic workforce planning.
Quantify the impact of various recruiting strategies and initiatives (e.g., Talent Intelligence and Branding), helping to allocate resources effectively.
Improve candidate experience through quantitative and qualitative data analysis (e.g., refine processes that enhance candidate satisfaction and support our branding efforts.)
Monitor data quality and influence the structure and design of data flows & the data warehouse
Understand market trends and competitor strategies to help keep us competitive.
Engage with key stakeholders and build relationships to ensure alignment and delivery of TA Analytics initiatives that impact global cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Tech, etc.)
Requirements:
10+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years leading/managing analytics teams and experience directly supporting Talent Acquisition
Strong business acumen and user-centric mindset
Demonstrable track record of stakeholder management, executive influence and partnership
Skilled in operating within a complex, cross-functional, geo-distributed organization
Exceptional communicator with technical and non-technical teams, across functions and multiple levels of seniority
Facility in synthesizing data and generating insights and recommendations
Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, R, Python, and Tableau/PowerBI
Fluency with statistics and causal inference
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $230,000 - $610,000
