Description

The UCLA Blood and Platelet Center, located at Ackerman, is currently seeking a motivated student worker to assist in recruiting blood donors at our Gayley Center location in Westwood. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital cause while gaining valuable experience in public engagement and community outreach. Duties include:

• Interact with donors onsite, helping them understand how impactful their donation is.

• Collaborate with the staff to create a welcoming and friendly environment for our donors

• Assist in administering in our Donor Experience survey to our donors and encouraging them to make another donation appointment in the near future.

• Collaborate with recruitment team to enhance our social media content and outreach efforts.

• Support telerecruitment in various donor outreach efforts.

• Perform administrative and clerical duties as assign.

Note: This position is open exclusively to current UCLA students.

Salary Range: $23.00/hour - $45.00/hour

• Must be a current UCLA student.

• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
