Description

Our client is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining data, performing various general accounting tasks, collaborating with team members and other departments, and assisting in preparing management reports. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial activities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain data in the billing system and perform billing procedures

• Perform general accounting tasks such as account reconciliations and journal entries

• Reconcile bank accounts and produce weekly cash reports

• Prepare and submit year-end 1099s

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 1+ year of experience

• Familiarity with Journal Entries and Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Must have a strong ethical standard and integrity

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
