Overview

THE ROLE: (Small summary of what you are looking for)

This role supports the provision of accurate and efficient preparation and delivery of corporate reporting, which is at the core of the analytics provided by the business insights group, and is provided to investor relations as part of their data requirements. analytics and interpretation data producing regular reporting and performing ad-hoc analysis.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: (Responsibilities and tasks associated with the job)

  • Maintain a reference library of all Key Metrics.

  • Develop logic, build from scratch and maintain Key Metrics reports and dashboards (both ad-hoc and scheduled) using Excel, and/or business intelligence toos (PowerBI/MicroStrategy).

  • Support monthly and quarterly Key Metrics and trends validation process to ensure accuracy. The validation process includes ensuring that data is accurately captured from various data sources, understanding and interpretation of data formulas, and calculations and troubleshooting of variances

  • Optimize and improve efficiencies, quality, timeliness and sort out relevance of current routine reports and processes. Seek opportunities for automation or enhancement of existing methodologies.

  • Ensure data is complete, accurate and aligned with expectations.

  • Lead business requirements with technical teams for data solution.

  • Align with regional members of the Business Inisghts Group to ensure consistency with Key Metrics and reduce duplication of effort by consolidating solutions.

  • Create complex data models to simulate What-If scenarios to test the impact of potential changes to business condition, marketing plan or promotional activity.

  • Using observations develop or participate in collaborative development of data requirements and analytics methodology.

  • Understand the business context of requests and drive quality technical solutions to provide results to support business decision making.

  • Communicate conclusions in a clear and concise manner (graphs, charts, PowerPoint and verbal presentations) to technical and non-technical audiences.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Share supervisory duties, if applicable)

  • None

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: (List requirements, including education and experience needed for the job)

  • 5+ years of experience in the functional areas of business analysis, financial analysis, statistical model development, and data mining and/or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database analysis

  • 3+ Experience in content management

  • 2+ Experience in managing multiple projects and communications with multiple stakeholders and business groups

  • Strong experience with Microsoft tools including SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Proficient understanding of Workload, Resource and Project Management techniques and tools

  • Proven significant experience with Business Intelligence applications such as MicroStrategy, PowerBI

  • Proficient knowledge of pivot tables, macros, v-lookup, queries, and report writing to analyze data and consolidate reports

  • Strong experience in data validation and quality assurance activities

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate, understand and interpret data from both internal and external perspective

  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals from different countries and cultures, with a sensitivity to cultural diversity

  • Ability to communicate ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to both analytical and non-analytical audience

  • Ability to recognize and define problems, understand business and system processes, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and communicate questions to gather the necessary missing information to resolve a problem.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Goal oriented, multi-task projects, superior time management and organizational skills

  • Able and willing to work in the fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines

Education

  • BA/BS in Business, Economics Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • May consider candidate with an additional 4 years of relevant work experience
