About the Position:

The Program Manager oversees the daily operations of the Office of Youth and Community Restoration (OYCR) Project and monitors the daily management of the team and community. Will lead county, provider, and state participants in a learning collaborative to identify and popularize best practices. Directly supervises the Program Coordinators and other team members assigned to this project.

Salary Range: $75,000-$78,000/yr

What You Will Do:

  • Work with OYCR, DOR and interested counties to develop program outline and confirm county participation.

  • Work with counties to identify and engage local providers.

  • Ensure successful and safe transition of the students to the various communities in the initiative. 

  • Ultimate responsibility for the supervision of program faculty (staff) positions. If necessary, substitute for, and adequately perform all duties of any other paid faculty (staff).

  • Ensure compliance with employment services funding entities, administrative and fiscal regulations in accordance with the Contract Agreement provisions.

  • Monitor operational costs meet budget guidelines.

  • Ensure all proposed outcomes of the grant are met.

  • Coordinate all administrative aspects of the project such as developing MOUs with all partners that outline responsibilities and protocols, as well as manage the day to day relationships with all partners.

  • Collect and aggregate all data and provide all reporting.

  • Serve as the overall liaison to this project.

  • Responsible ensuring compliance with all funder(s) administrative and fiscal regulations in accordance with contract provisions. 

  • Development of quality control procedures to ensure high quality services and quality improvement.

  • Assist in resolving programmatic and personnel issues or concerns that arise.

  • Monitor employment services activities of faculty such as intake, assessment, training, job search activities, workshops, etc.

  • Participate in staff meetings. 

  • Supervise preparation and submission of all required reporting.

  • Ensure program compliance with Amity policies and procedures, relevant to federal and state regulations and contract obligations.

  • Responsible for the daily management and quality of care and services afforded to students is in keeping with contemporary therapeutic community methodologies and “best practice” standards.

  • Oversees the capabilities of the project; ensure that accommodations will be made to meet individual and/or special needs of students. 

  • Attend and participate in Amity community building functions.

  • Attend and participate in funder(s) meetings, trainings, events, functions etc. as it pertains to Employment Services. 

  • Additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related fields, and two year experience working with a criminal justice population

  • A high school diploma or equivalent AND two years of experience as a job developer or similar position.

  • Within six weeks of hire, obtain First Aid and CPR certification.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

  • Ability to operate general office equipment.

  • Ability to exercise an amount of empathy and understands the importance of role-reversal.

  • Demonstrates skill in patience, active listening, and interest in diverse life stories. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a genuine enthusiasm for helping people.

  • Demonstrates proper attitudes and techniques and techniques to residential student.
