Description

An expanding organization is in search of a skilled Payroll Specialist who can proficiently handle payroll responsibilities for over 1000 employees spread across multiple states. The hired individual will be primarily responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing all tasks associated with our payroll operations. They must have exceptional knowledge of multi-state payroll processing, tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and strong truthful communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain confidentiality while handling payroll-related information for over 1000 employees.

• Process multi-state payrolls including setting up new employees, verifying timekeeping records, posting job costs, and preparing earning deductions.

• Stay updated with the varying state tax rates, wage laws, and withholding requirements.

• Keep records of leaves, unpaid time off, sick days, and effectively account for them in payrolls.

• Ensure accurate computation of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions.

• Prepare detailed reports relating to payroll expenditures.

• Address and resolve payroll-related queries and concerns from employees and management.
